Helping Nikaury Portalatin 

Nikaury Portalatin was an intelligent 18-year-old young lady from La Romana, Dominican Republic. Nikaury was born with a benign disease known as Neurofiborsacrcoma, this disease causes the development of tumors in the cells surrounding the peripheral nerve. This tumor can range in size and location and can cause difficulty walking, using arms, legs, hands, and feet. Nikaury began to undergo surgeries at the age of two with at total of eight surgeries each one becoming riskier for her. As a foundation we were able to provide help for her family, with first hand necessity items such as diapers, clothes, food, a walker, new bed and help with her medical funds. Nikaury was a strong and very brave young lady who fought her best against this terrible disease, but it got the best of her. Nikaury passed away November of 2020, we will always remember Nikaury as a strong and outgoing person. We are truly grateful that we were able to meet such a kind soul like her and able to do everything we could to help her and her family. We pray for her and her family always.
